As one of my favorite places to do my college schoolwork, Classic Coffee is more than a café—it’s a hub for community connection and a champion of sustainability. Known for its exceptional coffee and dedication to supporting local organizations, it enriches lives with every cup. With their mission to create welcoming spaces and their partnerships with schools, artists, and nonprofits, Classic Coffee needed a cohesive visual identity to match their values and impact.

The challenge
Despite its reputation as a community-focused coffee shop, Classic Coffee lacked a strong, cohesive brand identity. It also was outdated and had never been touched by a professional eye. It needed visuals and merchandise that reflected its values, resonated with its customers, and stood the test of time.

I took Classic Coffee’s essence—community, quality, and connection—and translated it into visuals that reflect these values. Drawing inspiration from the shop’s deep ties to Glendora and its partnerships with local organizations, I worked on reimagining its logo and creating merchandise that feels personal and timeless.
Solution
The redesigned logo incorporates elements that highlight Classic Coffee’s role as a cornerstone of its community, while the custom merchandise, including hats, shirts, mugs, and more, provides customers with tangible ways to celebrate their connection to the brand. The graphics designed for the shop solidify its welcoming and inclusive atmosphere.
