Designing custom skateboards and packaging for a new, youth-focused skate park brand.
Designing custom skateboards and packaging for a new, youth-focused skate park brand.
Skatespace is a newly launched indoor skate park dedicated to inspiring the next generation of skaters through camps, community, and creativity. The owner originally reached out for a few small graphic ideas, but the project quickly evolved into something bigger. I had the opportunity to design their very own line of skateboards and matching fingerboards, created exclusively for the park’s young skaters.

The Story
THE OPPORTUNITY
As a new brand, Skatespace wanted to make their mark in a way that reflected their energy and vision, while giving kids something tangible to connect with. The goal was to enhance the camp experience, strengthen brand identity, and create products that kids would be proud to ride that ultimately would be it's own marketing.
THE APPROACH
Leaning into their established look (playful, youthful, and sketch-style) I designed a set of skateboard graphics that felt bold and full of movement. The style stayed true to Skatespace’s raw, skate-inspired identity while bringing in a clean, graphic edge that stands out in a crowded market.
THE SOLUTION
I illustrated multiple deck options before we landed on what became the perfect graphic for Skatespace’s first-ever skateboard line. The designs extended to custom fingerboards, complete with matching packaging—tying the entire collection together as a cohesive, memorable set.

The Results
Since launching, Skatespace has quickly become a hub for creativity and community. Their camps have been a huge success, bringing together kids from across the area to learn, skate, and connect. The new custom boards and fingerboards have added a unique layer to the experience, giving campers gear that feels truly their own.
